JAIPUR: BJP exhibited its faith in fresh faces while releasing its final lists of candidates on Sunday, setting the stage for a compelling battle in the Rajasthan assembly elections. The party announced its fifth list with 15 candidates and sixth with three, completing the process of declaring its nominees for 200 constituencies.

Hours after joining BJP, Congress MLA Girriraj Singh Malinga was offered a ticket for the Bari constituency, which he represents. The party incorporated 13 new candidates into the line-up. Among them, two have been chosen as replacements for the Kolayat and Baran-Atru seats. BJP opted to replace Dharamnarayan Joshi, its sitting MLA for Mavli, with KG Paliwal who is among the new faces.
