State tableaus this year

30 States and Union Territories expressed their interest in participating in the Republic Day Parade 2024, including Punjab and West Bengal. However, as is customary each year, only 15-16 of these States/UTs will ultimately be chosen to showcase their tableaux in the parade. (PTI photo)

Highest girl cadets ever

This year's camp is set to have the highest number of girls cadets, totaling 907 participants. At the Republic Day parade, there are plans for two all-women contingents from the defense forces to march. One contingent will consist of 144 personnel with 60 from the Army and the remainder from the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. (PTI photo)
