As per the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order (2008), it was formed with seven assembly segments including Etcherla, Rajam (SC), Bobbili, Cheepurupalli, Gajapathinagaram, Nellimarla, and VizianagaramEtcherla, Rajam (SC), Bobbili, Cheepurupalli, Gajapathinagaram, Nellimarla, and Vizianagaram and it belongs to Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.
CandidatesThis year from the Vizianagaram constituency, Bobbili Srinu (Indian National Congress), Kalisetti Appalanaidu (TDP), and Bellana Chandra Sekhar (YSRCP) are standing against each other.
Lok Sabha 2019 election resultIn 2019, Vizianagaram parliamentary constituency had total 1503980 electors. Total number of valid vote was 1217890. Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party candidate Bellana Chandra Sekhar won and became MP from this seat. He secured total 578418 votes. Telugu Desam candidate Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati stood second with total 530382 votes. He lost by 48036 votes.
Voting date and resultThe Vizianagaram Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to vote on 13th May 2024, with the Election Commission announcing results on 4th June, as per their statement on March 16.
