Sources said 457 students and staffers of the residential school in NR Pura taluk run by the Union government were tested for Covid over the weekend after a school teacher tested positive for coronavirus three days ago.

All the students and employees who have turned out positive for Covid are asymptomatic. This comes 10 days after a medical college in Dharwad turned out to be a hotspot with over 300 freshers and seniors testing positive for Covid . Besides, Chikkamagaluru deputy commissioner
