India can expect a shooting medal: Shagun Chowdhary

LONDON: The only mantra for success that Shagun Chowdhary believes in is hard work. "You need to push yourself harder and success will come," she says. In an chatwith TOI,the Jaipur girl feels India can expect a shooting medal. Excerpts:
How do you see the next few weeks and months?
Well, I have two weeks to my competition. So all I will be doing is working on all that I have learnt in the last few months and making it all count in the Olympics.
Do you think your perfect moment has arrived?
I don't know about "perfect" moments but qualifying and competing in the Olympics is special for me.
Do you feel wind will be a big factor in London?
Wind and rain will definitely be a big factor in London as ours is an outdoor sport, the trajectory of the clay targets get altered in windy conditions. So that can prove to be tricky.
Since it's your first Olympics, how motivated are you?
I am motivated to do my best at the Games. It is my first Olympics and I just want to give it my best shot.
What would be your instant reaction if you make it to podium?
I cannot preempt my reaction. What will be will be and will be for everyone to see.
