THE RAMAN-CHARPAK FELLOWSHIP
Eligibility: The Raman-Charpak Fellowship is offered by the French Embassy in India and Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR) to PhD research students who intend to pursue part of their research at a French institution for 2-6 months

Amount: Fellowship support of €1500 per month for daily expenses, local travel, accommodation charges plus social security charges are provided to Indian applicants

Deadline: Applications for the fellowships open in April and close in May/June every year

THE EIFFEL SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility: The Eiffel Scholarship established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, is designed for international students pursuing study programmes in four major fields: Law, Economics and Management, Engineering and Political Sciences. The scholarship programme funds master's courses for 12 to 36 months and offers funding for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students to spend 10 months in France through joint supervision or a joint direction of thesis

Amount: Monthly allowance of €1,181 (a maintenance allowance of €1,031 and a monthly stipend of €150) for 12-36 months for master's level and a monthly allowance of €1,400 is awarded for a maximum of 10 months to PhD level students

TRUST SCHOLARSHIPThe Franco-Indian Education Trust, a not-for-profit organisation, with the support of French Embassy in India, funds (through grants, scholarships, fellowships) the mobility of students, faculty, researchers, scholars, and professionals between France and India for long term or short term training or academic programme

Eligibility: Candidate must be an Indian citizen under 30 years of age and enroled in an Indian institution

Amount: Monthly living allowance, social security coverage, visa fee waiver (approximately Rs 16,500)

CHARPAK RESEARCH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The programme is open to graduate and post graduate students pursuing studies in Engineering, Science and Economics and wish to attend a training course at a French laboratory or university during their academic break

Eligibility: Students enroled in bachelor's or master's programme in Economics, Engineering or Sciences

Amount: Monthly stipend of €310, medical insurance upto €250 per annum and student visa fee waiver (Rs 5000 approximately)

Deadline: February every year
