CHENNAI: Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Tiruvarur, has come up with an integrated BSc BEd course to train teaching aspirants who clear their Class XII board exams.
Usually it takes three years for candidates to get their undergraduate science degree and another two years to finish their B Ed course. But the CUTN course in maths discipline is for four years. A total of 50 seats are available per batch.
Candidates who have scored 60% or above in maths/statistics, physics and chemistry in their Class XII board exams can apply.
Candidates can apply for the course on the designated online portal (www.cucetexam.in) before April 13.
Selection will be based on a written test. This year, the test would be held on May 25 and 26 and results would be released on June 21, said an official notification.
