Microsoft announced a 10-year partnership with Ukraine-based cloud gaming company Boosteroid in March 2023. As a part of this deal, the tech giant will bring Xbox PC games to more players around the world. In June 2023, Xbox brought the first batch of Xbox PC games to Boosteroid. The company is now deepening its ties with the game streaming service. Xbox Game Pass subscribers (both PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate) with a Boosteroid membership can now stream titles along with supported titles purchased through the Microsoft Store on Windows.

Boosteroid users can now access Deathloop, Dishonored titles, Gears series, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Pentiment. Users can also enjoy cross-play and cross-save features with their Xbox console and Windows PC for these games. The company has also promised to continue to add more titles from its extensive catalogue of PC games over time.

How to access Xbox games on Boosteroid

To get started, users will need to gain access to the game through the Microsoft Store – either via a PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, or by a direct purchase of the game through the Microsoft Store along with a Boosteroid membership. Choose the game and follow these steps:

  • Log into your Boosteroid account on any supported device (PC, smartphone, tablet, smart TV, etc.)
  • Go to “Library” and select “Xbox” to see all supported games.
  • Browse the Xbox PC library and select the game you want to play
  • Click on the “Play” button to launch the game on Boosteroid.
  • Log into your Microsoft account that owns the game or has your Xbox Game Pass membership
  • Confirm your Microsoft account and start playing
The company noted that the quality of the gaming experience on Boosteroid will depend on the hardware, location, software and network. Boosteroid users can now play their favourite Xbox PC games on Windows, MacOS, Linux and mobile devices. To play these games, users won’t have to download, install or make hardware upgrades.
