According to the EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2023, these Indian techies are among the country’s ‘most generous’.

HCL Tech founder Shiv Nadar made it to the top of the list with a total donation of Rs 2,042 crore.

Wipro chairman Aziz Premji and family ranked second on the list with total donations of Rs 1,774 crore.

Mukesh Ambani and family

Chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani and family ranked third on the list with total donations of Rs 376 crore.

Nandan Nilekani

Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani ranked eighth in the list with total donations of Rs 189 crore. While his wife, author and philanthropist Rohini Nilekani tenth with total donations of Rs 170 crore.

Kris Gopalakrishnan

Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan ranked 15th on the list with Rs 93 crore in donations.

According to the report, Infosys co-founder K Dinesh donated Rs 47 crore.
