According to a report by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the top five remitter banks in India accounted for 8.1 million transactions in November 2023. Here are the top banks and the number of transactions attributed to each.

State Bank of India

SBI was first on the list with a total of 3.84 million AutoPay transactions in November.

HDFC Bank

HDFC Bank stood second with a total of 1.68 million AutoPay transactions in November.

ICICI Bank

ICICI Bank ranked third on the list with a total of 0.94 million UPI AutoPay transactions in November, according to NPCI.

Paytm Payments Bank

Paytm Payments Banks stood fourth on the list, according to the report, with a total of 0.82 million AutoPay transactions.

Bank of Baroda accounted for a total of 0.56 million AutoPay transactions in November.
