Microsoft Teams is set to receive four new AI-powered features for improved workplace collaboration.
Copilot in meetings and Whiteboard
Copilot will be able to translate spoken discussion points into visual representations and arrange them within a Whiteboard interface. Microsoft is set to bring this feature to Teams at the beginning of next year.
Copilot in Collaborative notes
Another feature coming to Teams is that Copilot will soon be able to generate real-time notes during meetings that will be available to all participants.
Intelligent recap integration with Copilot
Intelligent recap will be integrated into Copilot which will provide users with the summary, key points and action items discussed during a meeting in addition to answering specific questions.
Custom channel announcement background
Microsoft Teams users will soon be able to create personalised announcement backgrounds with images and descriptions or leverage AI to generate a creative backdrop.
