Battle royale game Fortnite is promising an “other worldly experience” to players from April 23 to 25. This other worldly experience happens to be Astronomical, a “musical journey featuring American singer Travis Scott”. Fortnite and Travis Scott have teamed up together for a virtual show. The event will feature the world-premiere of a new track for the game. Here’s a tweet regarding the event.
There will be five virtual shows by the American singer during the event for the players around the world. The time slots, as mentioned in the Epic Games blog, are as follows:
- Friday, April 24, 2020 at 4:30:00 AM GMT+5:30 (4.30 AM IST)
- Friday, April 24, 2020 at 7:30:00 PM GMT+5:30 (7.30 PM IST)
- Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 9:30:00 AM GMT+5:30 (10.30 AM IST)
- Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 8:30:00 PM GMT+5:30 (8.30 PM IST)
- Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 3:30:00 AM GMT+5:30 (3.30 AM IST)
As per the Epic Games blog, “From April 23-25, blast off into a one of a kind musical journey featuring Travis Scott and the world premiere of a brand new track. Astronomical is an other-worldly experience inspired by Cactus Jack’s creations, built from the ground up in Fortnite.”
Players can also get a hold of Travis Scott Outfits, Emotes, and more starting April 21. Attendees of any of the Astronomical events will get an Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens for free. There are Astronomical Challenges too that will begin from April 21.
