Who is Lorna Hajdini? All about the JP Morgan executive facing harassment allegations and professional coercion charges from Chirayu Rana
Lorna Hajdini, an executive director at JPMorgan Chase's (JPMC) Leveraged Finance division has been recently embroiled in a series of scandalous allegations. On April 27, Monday, she was accused of sexual abuse, racial harassment and professional coercion by a junior male colleague identified as "John Doe", as per a lawsuit filed in the New York County Supreme Court.
As per the Daily Mail, in one instance, she dropped her pen on the floor next to Doe's desk. While bending to pick the object, she rubbed his leg and squeezed his calf before making an objectionable statement. Other instances include her visiting his home and forcing him into sexual acts.
In May 2025, Doe filed a written complaint to JPMC, detailing the racial, gender-based discrimination and harassment against him. However, the bank denied his claims, stating that an investigation found no evidence to support the allegations. "Following an investigation, we don't believe there's any merit to these claims," a JPMC spokesperson told the outlet. "While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations."
The 37-year-old currently serves as Executive Director for the Leveraged Finance division and has been in the company for nearly 15 years. Before JPMorgan, she interned at the office of the medical director, then at Glazer Capital Management and Tudor Investment Corporation.
As of now, the only information available about her is that she has been accused of sexually harassing an executive at the bank. A spokesperson said a thorough internal investigation by the bank's HR department and in-house lawyers found no evidence to support allegations levelled by Rana. The probe included a review of team phone records and emails. No trial date has been announced in the case so far.
