'Send your resume to...': Did Lorna Hajdini reply to a LinkedIn job request amid JPMorgan lawsuit row; man's post goes viral
Lorna Hajdini, a senior executive at JPMorgan has been recently embroiled in a scandalous controversy. The 37-year-old working as Executive Director for the Leveraged Finance division was accused of sexual abuse, racial harassment and professional coercion by a junior male colleague identified as "John Doe" as per a lawsuit filed in the New York County Supreme Court.
The lawsuit, which was later revealed to be filed by a former employee Chirayu Rana alleged that Hajdini drugged him with Rohypnol and Viagra while subsequently taking advantage of him. She also threatened to reduce his bonus if he did not comply, effectively turning him into what he described as a "sex slave." Hajdini even visited his home and forced him into sexual acts, as per a Daily Mail report.
In May 2025, Doe filed a written complaint to JPMC detailing the racial, gender-based discrimination and harassment against him. However, the bank denied his claims, stating that an investigation found no evidence to support the allegations.
One thread in particular has surfaced immensely online. A user identified as Murray Hill Guy on X (formerly Twitter) said he had been connected to Hajdini on LinkedIn for years and went on to reveal a conversation he had with her. “Been a connection for years with her…what’s my move?” he wrote.
In a subsequent post, he shared a message he wrote her, asking her for guidance with a chance to connect and learn from her experience. “Hi Lorna - saw your role as Executive Director at J.P. Morgan and your Stern background. I'm currently pursuing opportunities in the space and would value the chance to connect and learn from your experience. Appreciate any guidance you're open to sharing.”
He later claimed to have received a response, sharing a screenshot where Hajdini asked him to share his resume with an email ID. “Please send your resume to email ID [redacted].”
He captioned the post, "Holy s**t, am I in???"
Moreover, the man is not truly connected to Hajdini on LinkedIn and just messaged on her profile earlier. Following the controversy and the lawsuit going viral globally, Hajdini's LinkedIn profile, which had been previously accessible, is reported to have been removed.
Additionally, the screenshots he shared include his own messages but not Hajdini's alleged reply.
As per her LinkedIn profile, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Statistics from NYU Stern School of Business. She also attended the Private Equity and Venture Capital program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
Hajdini has denied the allegations made against her in the lawsuit. She stated that she did not engage in any inappropriate conduct and never visited the location where the alleged incident took place. The matter remains an ongoing legal dispute.
