6 courageous freedom fighters of the Indian independence struggle that remain unsung to date

India’s struggle for independence is a story of bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering determination. While many know the prominent leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh, the freedom movement also included countless unsung heroes who worked in the shadows.

These people also have unsung stories of their unique struggles and contributions, which played vital roles that often go unrecognised. Their courage and sacrifices form the backbone of India’s liberty, constantly reminding us that freedom was earned through the collective effort of these people and other famous names.

Recalling these lesser-known figures helps us appreciate the courage and sacrifice that they had for the nation.
