One of the most beautiful birds in the world, Macaw's ability to mimic speech is quite popular. Found in the hilly regions of South and Southeast Asia, Hill Myna usually live in the wild and pick up sounds from nearby which include shrill whistles, screeches, gurgles and more. Their Latin name is Gracula religiosa, which might be referred to the popular practice of teaching them to recite prayers. However, many people in the regions adopt them as pets and in the households they learn to pick up lines and common sounds.
