Jhummandi Naadam

Rockstar Manchu Manoj falls in love with the beautiful Taapsee Pannu, who is an NRI and wants to make a documentary on Indian traditions. Being the love interest of Manoj, she was praised for her charm in the film. Manoj, who wants to become a music composer in the film, finds his love for Taapsee as a roadblock between his dreams.

Taapsee has also been complimented for her fashion sense in the film. MM Keeravani’s music and S Gopal Reddy’s cinematography have paved the way for the major success of the K Raghavendra Rao’s film.

3/7

Mr Perfect

Being a brave girl, Taapsee Pannu went on to play the character of Maggie, a self-centered woman in the Prabhas starrer, directed by Dasaradh. She was the strong competitor to Kajal Aggarwal in the film and she reportedly outshined her. She gave a wonderful performance alongside Prabhas. The song titled, ‘Aakasam Badhalaina’ featuring Prabhas and Taapsee is still fresh in people’s mind.

Sahasam

Chandra Sekhar Yeleti’s directorial venture is one of the biggest hit films in 2013 in Tollywood. Taapsee Pannu did a terrific job as a Hindu devotee in the film. The movie is about a young security guard who is in search of his grandfather’s treasure to become rich. In the process, a beautiful love story starts between the leads. Taapsee was praised for her honest performance in the film.

Kanchana 2

The role Taapsee played in ‘Kanchana 2’ was commendable. In the film, the actress shared screen space with filmmaker-cum- choreographer-cum-actor Raghava Lawrence.

A television channel in the film tries to capture some unusual incidents that occur in a haunted house. Things take a bitter turn when people enter the house. The movie performed well at the box-office. ‘Kanchana 2’ is the third instalment of ‘Muni’ film series, directed by Raghava Lawrence.

The Ghazi Attack

The film featured Rana Daggubati, Atul Kulkarni, Kay Kay Menon, Taapsee Pannu, Rahul Singh and Satyadev Kancharana. Taapsee played the role of a Bangladeshi refugee in the film. Even though she had a small role, she reportedly played it with perfection. Her performance was appreciated by the audience. The movie was a big hit and all the artists were praised for their performances. ‘The Ghazi Attack’ was directed by the first-time director Sankalp Reddy.

7/7

Anando Brahma

This is the second time Taapsee has played such kind of role on screen after ‘Kanchana 2’. Unlike other horror films, people are not afraid of ghosts in this one. However, it is not that it will fail to give you chills. Among the few ghosts in a haunted house, Taapsee happens to be one. In fact, she seeks revenge for her family and her murder.

The actress undoubtedly pulled off the character with confidence.
