Raabta makers deny the claims of Magadheera producers

’ have refuted the claim made by producers of ‘

Magadheera

’ that the Hindi movie is a copy of the Tollywood blockbuster. “The accusation has been made without verifying facts or waiting for the film to release for the public to give its verdict,” said the producers, Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar.

They reiterated that ‘Raabta’ is an original film that presents their vision of a time-less love story. The producers added that the Indian Copyright Law upholds the use of ideas and plots and Indian cinema has always supported creative expression of ideas.

said on Thursday that makers of ‘Magadheera’, Geetha Arts, have moved the Hyderabad Civil Court seeking injunction against the release of ‘Raabta’.
