Rana Daggubati is all set for the much awaited release of his war movie ‘The Ghazi Attack’ on February 17. Directed by debutante Sankalp Reddy, Ghazi’ is based on the sinking of Pakistani submarine Ghazi off the Vizag coast during the India-Pak war of 1971. The film has Rana Daggubati, Tapsee Pannu, KayKay Menon and Om Puri playing lead roles.Rana plays a naval officer of Indian Submarine S-21 who had to remain under water for 18 days to destroy the submarine. Rana told us, viewers can expect lot of breathtaking underwater visuals from ‘Ghazi’. The film was shot in a specially designed set in RFC and Rana had to undergo strict diet control to play his his character. Rana added, his scuba diving skills has helped him during the shooting. Produced by PVP Cinema and Matinee Entertainment film, ‘Ghazi’ will be released world wide simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
