<strong>Ala Modalaindi</strong><br /> <br /> The 2011 romantic comedy film <em>Ala Modalaindi</em> was a big hit. The film is directed by Nandini Reddy and stars Nani and Nithya in lead roles. The film focuses on the love story between Gautham (Nani) and Nithya (Nithya) and when he is all set to express his feeling for her, Nithya&#39;s fianc&eacute;e enters. The film, reportedly, completed 100 days. <em>Ala Modalaindi</em> was remade in Bengali as <em>Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo</em> and in Tamil as <em>Yennamo Yedho</em>.

Ye Maaya Chesave is a superhit romantic drama directed by Gautham Menon. Ye Maaya Chesave was released in the year 2010 and stars Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in lead roles. The plot of the film revolves around a Hindu assistant director, Karthik (Naga Chaintanya) who falls in love with a Christian girl, Jessie (Samantha). The film is about how Jessie is divided between her love and family and how she shockingly leaves Karthik. After few years when the two meet each other again, the story takes another angle in the film. The film won three Nandi and Filmfare Awards South and also four CineMAA Awards.

The film is about a love story between a spoilt rich brat Uday (Siddharth) and a lone girl Sandhya (Baby Shamili). Oy! won a Filmfare Special Award (South) For Music Direction. The music of the film was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Arya 2 starring Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal and also Navdeep and Shraddha Das in pivotal roles is a 2009 romantic film. The film was directed by Sukumar. Arya 2 is a sequel to Sukumar and Allu Arjun's 2004 hit film Arya. The plot revolves around a love triangle between Arya (Allu Arjun), Geeta (Kajal Aggarwal) and Ajay (Navdeep). The movie became a blockbuster and the film was dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil, Oriya and Hindi. Arya 2 won two Filmfare South Awards. Arya 2 was remade in Bengali as Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay.

Bommarillu

Bommarillu is a 2006 film directed by Bhaskar. The film stars Siddharth Narayan, Genelia D'Souza, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha in the lead roles. The story revolves around a boy named Siddu who is over-protected by his father, who is a businessman. Under his father's pressure, Siddu gets engaged to a girl of his father's choice. Siddu later falls in love with Hasini who does not belong to a wealthy family like him. The story is all about how Siddu takes a stand for his life and his love. Reportedly, Bommarillu became a blockbuster and it was one of the highest grossing Telugu films of that time. Due to the film's success, Bommarillu was remade in Tamil as Santosh Subramaniam. The film won 7 Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards South.
