Mahesh Babu is one such actor who has managed to carve a special niche for himself in Tollywood in the span of 20 years. The handsome actor made his debut with the 1999 film Rajakumarudu directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Since then, Mahesh has done several blockbuster hits, Murari, Okkadu, Athadu, Pokiri, Dookudu, Businessman, Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi. He was last seen playing an army Major Ajay Krishna in Anil Ravipudi directed-film Sarileru Neekevvaru, which was a massive hit and has collected the share of Rs 143. 88 crores, according to a report. Going by his future projects, Mahesh Babu has four exciting projects in the pipeline and looks like the actor's schedule is quite jam-packed.
SSMB 27 (Mahesh Babu-Vamshi Paidipally)
Mahesh Babu has given his nod to Vamshi Paidipally next project if a new report is to be believed. According to a report, a source close to the development revealed that the Sarileru Neekevvaru actor would be playing a dual role, a professor and a gangster in the upcoming film. The film will be produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations in association with GMB Entertainment. Kiara Advani is in talks to play the love interest to Mahesh in the film. SS Thaman is reportedly in charge of composing music.
SSMB 28 – (Mahesh Babu-Trivikram Srinivas)
Post SSMB 27, Mahesh Babu would team up with director Trivikram Srinivas for a film. The Mahesh Babu starrer will be produced by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations in collaboration with GMB Entertainment. The actor will be seen essaying a never-seen-before role, and it will be interesting to see how Mahesh gets into the skin of the character in the film. To be titled yet, it is still in the pre-production stage with the director completing up the script. Touted as a family entertainer, the film will be different from their previous collaboration.
SSMB 29 – (Mahesh Babu-Anil Ravipudi)
There are reports that Mahesh Babu will star in Anil Ravipudi's film again. While there was no announcement on the director or the rest of the cast, now the speculations are that this movie might be produced by Dil Raju. If this turns out to be accurate, this will be Anil Ravipudi's second movie with Mahesh Babu after Sarileru Neekevvaru, which enjoyed big commercial success. This time audiences are expected to see Mahesh Babu in a different role, and it seems like this film offer the same.
SSMB 30 (Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva)
Speculations have been doing the rounds regarding one of the upcoming big projects of Mahesh Babu. Reports are that the actor will be teaming up with director Koratala Siva for the second time for his 30th film. The director apparently came up with an impressive storyline, and the actor has agreed to join the star cast as its lead actor, we hear. The duo had worked tighter for Srimanthudu, which has received an amazing response at the box office. An official announcement on the details of the film's cast and crew is still awaited.
