When Samantha Ruth Prabhu reacted to her picture with Naga Chaitanya from 'Ye Maaya Chesave'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most loved actors in Tollywood, and her inspiring journey of acting, health, and fitness always has a solid fan base. Once Samantha got separated from her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya in 2021, fans and well-wishers of this duo were deeply saddened. Samantha was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease within one year of her divorce with Chay. She was seen as broken and even took a break from the industry. There was a time when Samantha talked about her first movie 'Ye Maaya Chesave' with her ex-partner Naga Chaitanya.

In her old interview with India Today, Samantha was discussing her debut film 'Ye Maaya Chesave' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The actress looked at some pictures from the film with Naga Chaitanya and said she doesn't remember that girl though. She called the girl in the old pictures someone who scared the little puppy, very eager to please, and quite desperate to fit in. For the longest time, Samantha just wanted to fit in.

Samantha further stated that she operated from a space of fear for a very long time. According to her, as a person with limited resources and a humble background, the fear of failure drove her to achieve whatever she has today.



Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in 2017 after dating for a few years. They were seen sharing the screen together in many films.

On the work front, Samantha is gearing up for the release of 'The First is Citadel: Honey Bunny' with Varun Dhawan. The Indian spy action thriller series is directed by Raj & DK. She will also make her debut as a producer in 'Bangaram', in which she will play the lead role.
