The makers of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan's upcoming movie 'Acharya' dropped the theatrical trailer ahead of the movie's release on Tuesday. The theatrical trailer not only establishes the father-son duo as comrades protecting the holy land and divine forest near 'Dharmasthali,' but it also heightens the anticipation for the film's release. Ram Charan is portrayed as the protector of the sacred land of Dharmasthali, which serves as a link between the holy land and a divine river. Ram Charan has a high threshold for protecting the holy place, as he is seen locking horns with the offenders in order to protect Dharmasthali.

'Salaar' teaser release announcement
The much-awaited moment for Prabhas fans has finally come. After impatiently waiting for an update about the teaser release of 'Salaar' from production house Homebale Films, they have finally revealed that the film's teaser will be released in the last week of May. This has come as a huge relief for the star actor's fans, who were slightly disappointed with the delay in an update from the makers.

'KGF: Chapter 2' box office collections
Actor Yash starrer 'KGF: Chapter 2' has finally hit the screens on Thursday (April 14, 2022). Helmed by Prashanth Neel, Yash plays a gangster in the film. It has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. KGF 2 has opened to rave reviews from the audience. The high octane action thriller has breached the Rs 300 crore club at the box office worldwide in two days since its release. Originally shot in Kannada, KGF was dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu.

'RRR' box office collections
SS Rajamouli’s 'RRR' is unstoppable and has crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark in just sixteen days after opening in theatres on March 25. The Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer emerged as a super hit movie ruling over the box office and become the highest-earning opening film as of 2022 and went on to gross about Rs 1050 crore worldwide. It is among the third highest-grossing Indian films of all time. The film has not only swept everyone off their feet with the box office numbers but also with the breathtaking action sequences.

'Beast' opened to mixed reviews
Directed by Nelson, Vijay’s 'Beast' hit the screens on Wednesday (April 13). The film opened to a decent start and earned around Rs 50 crore on Day 1. Pooja Hegde was seen as Vijay's love interest in the movie, while Selvaraghavan essayed a key role. The film received mixed reviews from critics. But the viewers appreciated Vijay’s performance in the film and some even agreed that he did complete justice to the character.
