Naga Chaitanya is working on his upcoming mystical action adventure film, ‘Vrushakarma’ directed by Karthik Dandu. The film is currently in the making and if the latest reports are to be believed the team has already locked its satellite right post theatrical release.
‘Vrushakarma’ satellite rights
According to a report by 123Telugu, ‘Vrushakarma’ satellite rights have been acquired by ZEE Telugu for a hefty price. It is imperative to mention that no official announcement has been made. Additionally, no reports regarding its OTT details have come.
Speaking about the film, the same publication also reported that the team is planning for a December 2026 release. As the movie includes heavy visual effects and fantasy elements, the team seems to be spending more time on the film’s post production. However, there is still no official confirmation from the team regarding the release date.
Naga Chaitanya shared release details
Earlier, During an interview with Variety India, Naga Chaitanya shared that the film is almost complete and they are considering it to release during August or October. He said, “The film is 90 per cent complete, but there is still 10 per cent left. That is why we don’t have an exact release date yet, but are eyeing the August to October window.” Time will tell the film’s actual release date.
Last month, the makers took to their social handles to share that the latest schedule of the movie was completed in the beautiful palaces of Rajasthan. The team was captured shooting and also some BTS moments as the leads and the other crew members can be spotted chatting and discussing with each other.

The film includes Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead and includes ‘Laapataa Ladies’ fame Sparsh Shrivastava as the main villain alongwith Jayaram and Satya in key roles.
