Vijay Devarakonda to team up with director Maruthi?

Vijay Devarakonda seems to be the choice of every Tollywood filmmaker for their films these days. The crazy actor recently scored a blockbuster hit with ‘Geetha Govindam’ directed by Parasuram. Though the actor is currently working on Anand Shankar’s upcoming flick ‘Nota’, there has been a lot of buzz about his new project.
Earlier, there were reports that Vijay will star in a Bharat Kamma directorial titled, ‘Dear Comrade’, which will be jointly bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, Big Ben Cinemas & Your Man. Rashmika Mandanna was approached to team up with the actor once again for this film. However, nothing has been made official by the makers as yet.
Speculations are rife that the actor has been approached by the director Maruthi Dasari, whose film ‘Sailaja Reddy Alludu’ is releasing this month, to rope him in for his next. The director has last tasted success with ‘Mahanubhavudu’ and has reportedly been in talks with Vijay Devarakonda for a new film, though there has been no confirmation regarding the projects yet.
