Varun’s transformation is a key aspect of Viraaji: Adhyanth

Director Adhyanth Harsha promises a captivating theatrical experience with his debut film, Viraaji, set to release on August 2. Featuring Varun Sandesh, Harsha says that the film is crafted to offer audiences a memorable cinematic journey. “Cinema has become quite an investment, so with Viraaji, I aim to deliver a thrilling and worthwhile experience,” adds Harsha.

Viraaji, a suspense thriller, tackles contem porary social issues. Harsha highlights Varun Sandesh’s character, Andy—a wealthy and rough individual — with a distinctive look involving coloured hair and a nosepin. “Varun’s transformation is a key aspect of the film, and his unique ap pearance serves a significant purpose within the story,” he says.


Harsha’s path to Tollywood is as intriguing as his film. With a background in Biotechnology and a PhD in Neuroscience from America, he shifted gears to filmmaking, starting with three short films and an independent feature. “I took a course in filmmaking and eventually penned the script for Viraaji. It caught the attention of producer Mahendranath, marking the beginning of my film career. I’m both nervous and excited for my debut,” Harsha admits.
