After the pre-release event for Ram Charan's upcoming film 'Game Changer', held in Rajahmundry, when two fans lost their lives in a fatal accident.

The victims, identified as Arava Manikanta and Thokada Charan from Gaigolupadu in Kakinada, were returning home on their motorcycle when they were hit by a van travelling in the opposite direction. Despite being rushed to the hospital, both succumbed to their injuries later that night. The police have since registered a case regarding the incident.


The event, which took place on January 5, 2025, was attended by numerous fans and notable figures, including Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. In light of the unfortunate incident, Dil Raju, one of the film's producers, announced a donation of Rs 10 lakh to support the families of the deceased fans. He expressed his sorrow over the incident, stating that it is painful when such tragedies occur during celebratory moments.

The filmmakers wrote, "Producer #DilRaju garu announced Rs 10 lakhs and assured support to the families of the two individuals Aarava Manikanta & Thokaada Charan who tragically lost their lives in the accident following the #GameChanger event. Our deepest condolences to their loved ones in this difficult time."

Pawan Kalyan also addressed the situation, mentioning that he had concerns about fan safety at large events like this one. On behalf of the Jana Sena, the deputy CM announced to provide Rs 5 lakh each to the families affected by the tragedy.
