The fun visual tale of Vivek Athreya's 'Brochevarevaru Ra'
The ‘visual tale’ of Vivek Athreya’s second film ‘Brochevarevaru Ra’, after his debut 'Mental Madhilo', starring Sree Vishnu, Nivetha Thomas, Nivetha Pethuraj, Satya Dev, Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi in lead roles released yesterday.
Described as, “Visual Tale, a one of its kind presentation by the team Brochevarevarura, while introducing the characters from the movie and leaving hints about the story. It is portrayed in the form of episodes depicted with caricatures making it interesting to watch and intriguing to analyse.” (sic) the visual tale is raking in good response with many interpreting the video in different ways.
Sharing the video on his social media, the director wrote, “This is how we would like to present characters and episodes of @Brochevarevarra for you on this lovely Friday evening. Watch it, Spot your favourite actors. Watch it again, decode the story you understood. Let us know.” (sic)
The cast of the film too shared the video, asking their fans to spot and decode their character. Indirectly commenting on the fiasco of his comments right after the release of Prashant Kumar’s ‘Mithai’, Rahul Ramakrishna wrote, “I have an annoying habit of making grand statements too early before the time of their necessity. So let me indulge in that habit once again and say this- #Brochevarevarura is one of the finest films I’ve ever worked on. Wait for it. Just wait for it.” (sic)
The visual tale which sees art by Ramanjaneyulu and music by Vivek Sagar introduces all the characters in the film via caricatures. Fans leave messages under the video, decoding the characters and the film’s plot which looks like a dark comedy. With the film’s teaser and more yet to be released, it remains to be seen how it’ll fare.
