Sriya Reddy is set to star in the highly anticipated
Pawan Kalyan film 'They Call Him OG' directed by
Sujeeth. In a recent interview, Sriya revealed an intriguing detail about her role in the movie which seems to be originally written for another acclaimed Bollywood actress.
Speaking to Film Companion, Sriya expressed her admiration for Tabu, describing her as an actress she has always looked up to.
She disclosed that she discovered the role was meant for
Tabu when she received the script, which had Tabu's name on it. While Sriya refrained from sharing too many details or the film’s title, it seemed that she was referring to her upcoming movie 'OG,' as it’s the only Telugu film she has signed recently.
Sriya shared her excitement about being part of 'OG,' emphasizing the significance of the opportunity. She described the film as intense and heartfelt, a project that brings back memories of her childhood. Sriya hinted that her character in the film is strong and invincible, promising that it will be a pleasant surprise for the audience.
