Bollywood actress
Kangana Ranaut, whose office was recently demolished by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (
BMC
) in Mumbai on Wednesday, has been receiving support from all corners. After a few Bollywood actors stood in support of the actress, now south Indian actor
Vishal also stood in solidarity with Kangana. The Pandem Kodi actor took to Twitter to express his views on the incident and how her act has reminded him of freedom fighter
Bhagat Singh.
The Pogaru actor wrote, “Dear Kangana, Hats off to your Guts, you have never thought twice to voice out what is right & what is wrong. It wasn't your personal issue, but even then facing the wrath of the Government, you stayed strong which makes it a very big example. It's something Similar to what Bhagat Singh did in the 1920s.This will set an example for people to speak against the Govt when something is not right and not necessarily being a Celebrity but also as a Common Man. Freedom of Speech (Article 19) Kudos to you, I Bow to you....GB”(sic).
Kangana Ranaut, on Wednesday, landed in Mumbai after nearly six months but hours before her arrival, the BMC demolished a part of her office for allegedly being an illegal construction. However, the hastiness in which BMC had razed down parts of the Manikarnika actor's property, drew sharp criticism from all quarters. Earlier, actors Dia Mirza and Sonam Kapoor also tweeted against the demolition of Kangana's property.
