left Tollywood heartbroken when he breathed his last at 8 PM on November 28 at the age of 72.
The choreographer had contacted Covid-19 a week ago and was being treated at a private hospital in the city. Despite being tested negative for Covid-19 before his death, he had suffered from 75% lung damage and was in a critical condition. The hospital will hand over his body to the family on November 29 at 5 AM and fans can visit him one last time at his residence at Panchavati colony in Manikonda. His last rites will be performed at Mahaprasthanam later in the day.
Tollywood celebs took to social media to pay condolences to his family. He is survived by his wife and two children Vijay and Ajay. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, among others, remembered his contribution to the film industry. When the choreographer was hospitalised and had faced financial difficulties, Chiranjeevi had donated Rs 3 lakh, Dhanush had donated Rs 5 lakh and Sonu Sood, Vishnu Manchu had also offered support.
