A brilliant story

Ashok (Venkatesh) and Vijaya (Vijayashanthi) are classmates and love each other. She is interested in becoming a cop, and he wants to be a lawyer. While attempting to finish his degree, he begins to practice with his uncle, who is sincere and fights injustice. During the process, Ashok’s uncle has been murdered by goons. Then he decides to take revenge against them. The credit for this goes to Kodi Ramakrishna, the man who directed the film, wrote the story, script and the screenplay.

Venkatesh as Ashok

One of the main reasons to watch the action drama is Venkatesh’s stellar performance as Ashok who plays the role of an advocate. He is shown as someone who is a hardworking and responsible person. This was one of the most amazing performances of Venkatesh and we still cannot get over Ashok. With an inspired performance and a terrific screen presence, Venkatesh surely does his best to portray the role.

A female lead who gets equal screen time

Sathruvu gives us a female lead who shares equal screen time with the hero. Vijaya played by Vijayashanthi, who absolutely steals the show as a cop. Playing the role of Vijaya, Vijayashanthi keeps your eyes glued to the screen with yet another riveting performance. She gets into the skin of a character that deals with the negative shades. Beautiful Music

Be it "Amma Sampangi Reku" and "Produnne Puttindi", these soothing songs from Sathruvu won hearts back then and continue to be chartbusters even now. Moreover, one also gets to groove to the peppy number Yamathakidi featuring Venkatesh and Vijayashanthi. It won’t be wrong to say the movie’s album is worth listening for all the music lovers. The songs truly make the film worth watching again.

Vijayashanthi recently made her comeback into the industry with Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru in 2020, while Venkatesh is busy shooting for his upcoming film "Narappa", an official remake of the Dhanush-starrer Asuran (2019).
