Samantha's travel diaries: Beatles and Ganga Aarti for the actress during her trip to Rishikesh

Sharing pictures from an ashram that was frequented by the music group Beatles, she wrote, “To stand where the

Beatles

once did. At Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram where they practised 'Transcendental Meditation‘ and wrote some of their famous songs..48 of them.. I mean (heart and heart-eye emojis). (sic)” She even attended the meditation caves that were used by Sanyasis and Brahmacharis. After spending the day there and clicking pictures of the Beatles put up on walls, she head to the Ganga ghats.


As the sun went down, she and Shilpa seemed to get in touch with their spiritual side, heading to the ghats. They took part in a pooja there, complete with bhajan and later even took part in the

Ganga Aarti

with a Swamy. The actress shared videos of the same on social media so did Shilpa. Pictures they shared also hinted that Samantha and Shilpa were travelling by helicopter overlooking the Himalayan terrain. Samantha opted for a breezy chequered dress for the day and looked casual chic with a scarf draped around her neck.


Samantha wrapped up shooting for Gunasekhar’s

Shaakunthalam

and announced two bi-linguals on Dussehra. She was also in the news recently for announcing her

divorce

from Naga Chaitanya. She reportedly filed a case on YouTube channels for spreading rumours about her personal life. Her appeal to hear the case on an urgent basis was however turned down, state reports.
