​Ravanasura

The upcoming film set to release in theatres on April 7, features Ravi Teja, Anu Emmanuel, Faria Abdullah, and Megha Akash in the lead roles. Directed by Sudheer Varma, known for his acclaimed films such as "Swamy Ra Ra" and "Saakini Daakini," the movie also has Jayaram, Daksha Nagarkar, Pujita Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj. Ravanasura is directed by Sudheer Varma of Swamy Ra Ra fame.

​Shaakuntalam

In this upcoming film, Samantha portrays the character of Shakuntala, after whom the movie is named. Directed by Gunashekar, who has previously helmed projects such as Okkadu and Varudu, the film is set to release on April 14. The storyline is based on the renowned work of Kalidasa, Abhijnana Shakuntalam. Along with Samantha, the movie features prominent actors such as Mohan Babu, Dev Mohan, Madhu Bala, and others in pivotal roles.

The collaboration between Allari Naresh and Vijay Kanakamedala is proving to be an exciting one, with the successful pairing of the hero and director in the hit film 'Naandhi'. It's the actors' first time collaborating on a film. Surender Reddy wrote and directed the movie, which stars newcomer Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead. Hiphop Tamizha composed the background music, while Rakul Herrian handled the cinematography and Naveen Nooli edited the film. Akhil Akkineni underwent a significant transformation for his role in the movie. It was filmed in Hyderabad, Delhi, and Hungary.

Custody

The upcoming release featuring Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty is scheduled to hit theatres on May 12. Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, the movie is classified as a thriller and will be released in both Telugu and Tamil languages. The cast includes Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sampath Raj, Sarathkumar, Premgi, Vennela Kishore, and Premi Vishwanath. The film's music has been composed by the seasoned musician Ilayaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja.

​Hanu Man

Since its announcement, the movie that presents the Indian deity as a superhero in a contemporary retelling has captivated the audience's attention. Hanu Man, starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, is directed by Prasanth Varma, acclaimed for the National award-winning Telugu film Awe. The movie will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada for wider release on May 12. Hanu Man is the first installment in the cinematic universe that Prasanth plans to create, with several subsequent parts expected in the franchise.

The buzz around Kiran Abbavaram's upcoming film, "Meter," is growing in Tollywood. It's scheduled to hit theatres on April 7, competing with Ravi Teja's "Ravanasura" at the box office during the summer season. For his first time in his career, Kiran Abbavaram portrays a cop character. Kollywood actress Athulya Ravi essays the love interest to Kiran in the movie. Ramesh Kaduri wrote and directed Meter.
