'Eagle' directed by Karthik Ghattamneni was all set for its release on January 12 in theaters. Now, the film's release has been postponed to February 9 after a discussion with the producer's council. In the meeting, the director said that if all the films clashed at the box office at the same time, it might not all run well at the theaters, and the producer's council also suggested the films could choose singular dates without fighting over screen space at once.

The Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer 'Salaar' was released in theaters on December 22. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie has now grossed nearly Rs 700 crore at the box office in three weeks. Following this, Salaar is all set for its release in Spanish in Latin America on March 7, and the movie will be released in Japan in summer 2024. The movie, apart from performing well in India, is now gearing up to make its international mark.

Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for Chandoo Mondeti's Thandel. The film stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead, and the movie is based on a real-life event that happened in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam in 2018. The movie makers have now launched the teaser for the film. The movie is slated for release by the end of 2024.

Ram Charan's next film is officially announced. Tentatively called 'RC 16', the movie stars Ram Charan and Shiva Rajkumar in lead roles, and the makers took to social media yesterday to announce that Oscar Award-winning composer AR Rahman has joined the crew of the film to compose the film's song and background music.
