Rakul Preet is on a high

Rakul Preet is a busy bee these days. With two Telugu films in her kitty, the actress has a packed schedule and now, she has revealed that she has signed another film, albeit it's in Hindi. Rakul is going to play the lead role in Ramesh Sippy's upcoming film, Shimla Mirchi and she's paired opposite National Award winner Rajkummar Rao. Incidentally, Hema Malini is going to be seen as her mother and buzz is that the film is a rom-com where both Rakul and Hema Malini fall in love with the hero.
Earlier this year, Rakul made her Bollywood debut with Yaariyaan, which did well at the box-office and bagging such a big project now is expected to work wonders for her career. Since it's Ramesh Sippy's comeback film, there's going to be lot more buzz about the film. No wonder, the actress is on cloud nine. In Telugu, she is currently playing lead roles in Manchu Manoj's Current Theega and another untitled film starring Gopichand.
