Director Prasanth Varma got his fame pan India after his project 'Hanu Man' released in January 2024. Marking the first film of his cinematic universe, the movie starred Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vinay Rai in lead roles. The film was a huge success and the director has announced the sequel project 'Jai Hanuman' already.
The director revealed that the pre-production work of the movie is completed and it was reported that the shooting will go on grounds once the cast is finalised. Prasanth Varma also stated that Teja Sajja will be playing an important role in the film but he will not be the lead and said that he hopes for Chiranjeevi or Mahesh Babu to play the lead in the movie.
The movie was earlier said to be out in 2025 and now the potential timeline of the movie has been pushed to 2026 as the shooting is yet to begin. Meanwhile, Prasanth Varma is also working on his project 'Octopus' starring Anupama Parameswaran as the lead.
