Prabhas horror-comedy 'The Raja Saab' gives Harry Potter vibes: Bhusan Kumar

Pan-India star Prabhas is currently working on his upcoming horror-comedy film, 'The Raja Saab' which will be released on April 10, 2025. T-series has acquired the music rights to the film, recently, Bhushan Kumar expressed his thoughts on the film, that it gives the vibe of Hollywood's wizarding world.

In an interview with Connect Cine, Bhusan Kumar expressed enthusiasm about the film's visuals, saying that it has a vibe similar to Harry Potter. He said, "We have acquired the music rights for Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, a horror-comedy film. I have seen a few visuals, and it has a bit of a Harry Potter vibe. It has interesting visuals and plot."

Directed by Maruthi, this film will have a different genre from the Rebel Star's recent action thriller. The plot of the film is expected to revolve around a young man who inherits an ancestral property, only to discover it is haunted by a vengeful spirit. It is also suggested that Prabhas will play dual roles, one as the living heir and another as the ghostly presence haunting the mansion.

The film also features Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal in key roles.

The film's motion poster, released on Prabhas's 45th birthday, showcases him in a regal avatar, seated on a throne with an intense expression. Releasing the poster the makers gave a tagline, "Horror is the new humour".
