'Peddi' box office collections day 1: Ram Charan scores massive start; Janhvi Kapoor's film crosses Rs 112.49 Cr worldwide
Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor's latest release 'Peddi' has started its theatrical journey with a powerful opening at the box office. The sports drama witnessed a strong response from audiences on its first day.
According to Sacnilk the opening figures indicate a massive jump in earnings. According to the reported figures from Sacnilk, 'Peddi' earned Rs 51.00 Cr on Day 1. The collection reflected a 175.7 percent growth compared to the previous recorded figure of Rs 18.50 Cr.
The film collected the amount across 12,412 shows on its opening day. The total India gross collection reached Rs 82.49 Cr. The India net collection stood at Rs 69.50 Cr.

The overseas market also contributed strongly to the film's opening run. The film grossed Rs 30.00 Cr internationally. With this, the total worldwide gross collection reached Rs 112.49 Cr.
The state-wise gross report also reflected the dominance of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. The APTG region alone brought in Rs 48.00 Cr. Karnataka added Rs 5.75 Cr to the total numbers.
Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 1.50 Cr, while Kerala recorded Rs 25 lakhs. Other regions combined added Rs 5.16 Cr.
Morning occupancy began at 59.54 percent. The numbers gradually increased during later shows. Afternoon occupancy stood at 62.69 percent. Evening occupancy reached 72.77 percent, while night shows climbed to 76.69 percent.
The IMAX Telugu version recorded 24.44 percent overall occupancy. Meanwhile, the Hindi 4DX format registered an overall occupancy of 36.70 percent.

Telugu market emerges as major driving force
The Telugu version delivered the biggest contribution to the overall collection numbers. It earned Rs 47.20 Cr and remained the strongest market for the film. Tamil collections reached Rs 45 lakhs while Malayalam contributed Rs 10 lakhs.The state-wise gross report also reflected the dominance of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions.
