Actress Shruti Haasan is celebrating her 34th birthday today. Shruti was born to actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur in Chennai on January 28, 1986. Shruti, who has primarily made a career for herself in Tamil films, started her journey as a child artist in her father film Hey Ram.
Shruti began her career as a lead actress with Bollywood film Luck that released in 2009.The film was an average fare at the box office. She made her Tollywood debut with the 2011’s fantasy adventure film Anaganaga O Dheerudu opposite Siddharth. She rose to fame with the Pawan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh, which was a blockbuster hit.
