NTR's 'Devara' to Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2': Big Telugu films of 2024 whose digital rights have been acquired!

2024 seems to mark a significant outcome for the Tollywood film industry. With the year just starting, four big films have already been released in theatres for Sankranti, and there are huge lineups that are awaiting their releases this year in theatres. Marking the diversity in its story and content that is enriching for the global audience, the international OTT platform 'Netflix' has acquired a mix of multiple Telugu films that are set for release in 2024! Here is the list of the unreleased films of 2024 that will make their digital premiere on Netflix after their theatrical releases!

Directed by Parasuram, the movie is a family action drama starring Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. The film was initially set to release in theatres on January 12 for Sankranti. But the makers have now postponed the release to be in March and the film's digital rights has been acquired by Disney+ Hotstar.

Varun Tej and Manushi Chillar starrer 'Operation Valentine' is all set for its release in theatres on February 16. Directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, the film is about an important operation that falls under the hands of the Indian Air Force. The movie's digital rights has been bagged by Amazon Prime and it will make its digital launch post its theatrical release.

Vijay Devarakonda was last seen in the film 'Kushi'. He is now gearing up for the release of his film 'Family Star' alongside Mrunal Thakur. The acot has his next tentatively titled 'VD 12' which is slated for a release in theatres in 2024. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the movie is said to star Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The film's digital rights has already been bought by the international OTT platform.

Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in the film 'Bhagavant Kesari' and he is now shooting for his next tentatively titled 'NBK 109'. Directed by KS Ravindra, the film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Urvashi Rautela in lead roles. The film is scheduled for a release this year and post its theatrical release the movie will make its digital premiere in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Directed by Kortala Siva, Devara Part 1 is set for its release in theatres on April 5. The movie stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film's first glimpse was launched on January 5 and it will make its digital premiere a few weeks after its theatrical release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

'Pushpa 2' aka 'Pushpa The Rule' is set for its release in theatres on August 15, 2024. Directed by Sukumar, the film is the sequel of the 2022 blockbuster 'Pushpa The Rise'. The film stars Alllu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles and the movie's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film after its release will be launched on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
