It is known that ‘Dil Raju’ is producing quite a few films lately in Tamil cinema. He is also said to be orchestrating a big release for the dubbed version of his Tamil film ‘Varisu’ in Telugu with more no.of theatres over the Telugu big films such as ‘Waltair Veerayya’ and ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ this Sankranthi 2023. Which is said to be not going well among Telugu filmmakers and fans.
Recently during the pre-release event of Vijay’s ‘Varisu’/’Varasudu’ in Chennai, he reportedly made some not-so-pleasing comments about the Telugu stars for which he is getting trolled massively on the social media.
At the big event, Dil Raju reportedly said that he worked with several star actors in Telugu cinema but none has ever grabbed him a cup of coffee. But while he was waiting for Vijay in his cabin, he came with two cups of coffee. This is the first time that he saw some superstar caring for his producer. Therefore he claimed that Vijay is not just a superstar on screen but off-screen too.
Netizens are pointing out Dil Raju for insulting Telugu stars intentionally in Tamil Nadu to promote his Tamil film, while a few others say, though he wasn't intentional about Telugu actors, his poor communication skills in English made him take a dig at the Telugu actors.
