Mrunal Thakur to make her Tamil debut with Suriya in RJ Balaji's fantasy thriller

Mrunal Thakur has delivered charming and impactful performances with her captivating presence across various platforms, including Bollywood, Tollywood, and television. She is now set to make her Tamil film debut alongside Suriya in an upcoming project directed by RJ Balaji.

According to a report by Gulte, Mrunal has reportedly been cast in Suriya's next film, tentatively titled 'Suriya42', which is a fantasy thriller. Although there hasn't been an official announcement yet, updates are expected after the release of 'Kanguva', another highly anticipated film starring Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani. Initially, Mrunal was considered for a role in 'Kanguva' but had to decline due to scheduling conflicts. Interestingly, Disha Patani took on that role, which is said to have limited screen time.

Mrunal Thakur first gained recognition in Bollywood with her role in 'Super 30' alongside Hrithik Roshan. However, it was her performance in the Telugu film 'Sita Raman' that won her widespread acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Following that success, she starred in the hit film 'Hi Nanna' and appeared in 'The Family Star', further establishing her presence in cinema.

She also has multiple upcoming projects in Bollywood, including films like 'Pooja Meri Jaan', 'Son of Sardar 2', 'Tum Oh Ho', and others, where each film is in the works.

She was seen in the 2024 mega-blockbuster Prabhas starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD', where she made a special appearance in the film.
