Mohanlal congratulates Vishnu Manchu for winning MAA elections
Mohanlal, the president of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes) congratulated the new MAA (
On Saturday, the actor took an oath as the President of MAA, celebrating his victory after a much-charged election. Attending the ceremony virtually, Mohanlal wished him good luck and stated, “On behalf of MAA and also on a personal front, I congratulate Vishnu for winning the election. May he get strength and support to work for the welfare of the Telugu film industry.”
Vishnu seemed overwhelmed to receive support from other film industries as well. “I thank Mohanlal uncle for sending me best wishes. In fact this victory belongs to my dad (Mohan Babu), I will make him proud,” he said, adding, “It is unfortunate that a few members have decided to resign but the show will still go on. There will be no compromise when it comes to working towards the well-being of artists. You will see a new MAA in the next two years.”
