‘Manmadhudu 2’: The Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer to go on floors on this date

‘Manmadhudu’

which released back in 2002 was an absolute laugh riot and came as a welcoming change to the audiences. Not to forget the song 'Vaddura Sodara', which took everyone to a completely different world. The movie was mostly loved by the youth and urban crowd and it ended up being a hit at the box office. Now ‘Manmadhudu’ sequel is in the cards and filmmakers Rahul Ravindran has reportedly opened up on when the movie will go on the floors.

The sequel would go on floors on

March 25

with Akkineni Nagarjuna essaying the lead role and the first schedule is expected to be wrapped by April 4. The next schedule will reportedly start on April 12 in Portugal. The story will be a fresh take on the romantic entertainers with little reference to the original. Also, director Vijay Bhaskar isn’t part of this sequel as it’s the idea of actor-turned-director Rahul Ravindran, who made his directorial debut with Sushanth starrer

‘Chi La Sow’

Nagarjuna himself will produce the film under his Annapurna Studios banner. The sequel features Rakul Preet Singh and Payal Rajput as the female leads.
