Mahesh Babu completes 21 years in the Telugu film industry

It’s been 21 years since Mahesh Babu made his debut as lead and he’s had a great career so far, with his share of highs and lows. On July 30, 1990, Mahesh’s debut film Raja Kumarudu, directed by K Raghavendra Rao and produced by C Aswini Dutt released and there’s been no turning back for the reticent star who is known for being part of blockbusters such as Murari, Okkadu, Athadu, Pokiri, Dookudu, Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu, Maharshi and Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Mahesh babu managed to connect not only with the traditional audience but also carved a niche for himself in the minds of the new generation of viewers. He got all eyes on him after his breakthrough performance in Raja Kumarudu. The film took off well due to various reasons, including its music and promotions, and he delivered on the role tremendously. The actor was last seen in an action comedy-drama Sarileru Nekevvaru. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film scored huge at the box office, and the actor received a lot of appreciation and love for it.
As part of his career, Mahesh has also donned the producer’s hat and bankrolled his own projects such as Srimanthudu, Brahmotsavam and Sarileru Neekevvaru. He will be next seen in Parasuram’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata. S Thaman is composing music while PS Vinod will handle the cinematography. Martand K Venkatesh is in charge of editing the flick.
