Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with 'Liger' movie promotions. Vijay and the team are touring the whole country to promote the film.
Madhavi, Vijay Deverakonda's mother, performed a special puja to ensure that no negative forces would touch her son during their travel. To this end, puja was performed by Vedic scholars at the actor’s home in Hyderabad. Ananya Panday was also present at the ceremony. Vijay Deverakonda has shown his mother's love through social media platform. Both the actors were seen wearing traditional wear in the pics shared by Vijay.
The 'Liger' actor took to Twitter and shared some photos from the puja ceremony. He wrote, ''This whole month touring across India and receiving so much love already felt like God's blessing! But Mummy feels we needed his protection :) So Poooja and sacred Bands for all of us. Now she will sleep in peace while we continue our tour.''
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday also expressed her gratitude for the special puja. She too to her Instagram handle, and wrote, ''Blessings from Vijay’s amma @deverakonda and a pooja at his home in Hyderabad for #Liger #Thankful #Grateful #Blessed thank you auntyyyyy.''
Vijay is trying to establish himself as a pan-India hero with Puri Jagannadh’s 'Liger'. Puri also seems to have shown Vijay in a brand new avatar. The actor has already impressed with teaser, trailer and songs. Bankrolled by Puri Connects and Dharma Productions, Liger will hit the screens on August 25.
