The sequel to Nag Ashwin’s mythological sci-fi action drama ‘Kalki 2892 AD’ is currently in the works. After
Amitabh Bachchan, some of the other members of the film, including
Prabhas, Dulquer Salmaan, and JD Chakravarthy, are expected to start the shoot soon.
Update on ‘Kalki 2’ shoot
The sequel to ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has now started shooting. Earlier, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan shared a photo from the set. Now, according to a report by 123Telugu, Dulquer Salmaan and JD Chakravarthy have joined the shoot. They are said to be working with Big B in this schedule. Soon, Prabhas will also join them. The film team is working again after a short gap. The new schedule is happening in Hyderabad. The makers have not said anything officially yet, but work has clearly begun.
Before this, as per Pinkvilla, there was news that the sequel shoot had already started in February. It was said that Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan were shooting together in Shankarpally. At that time, Prabhas was not part of the shoot. Some scenes were filmed without his character. Now, with the new schedule, things are moving faster.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was released in 2024, which featured a heavy star-studded cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani and others.
