Kajal Aggarwal turns down a remuneration of Rs 5 Cr because she does not want to join the female-centric bandwagon?

Kajal Aggarwal who has recently received a lot of adulation for her role of Radha in ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ will be starring in the Tamil remake of the Bollywood film ‘Queen’.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed the same on social media and posted, “@MsKajalAggarwal confirms doing #Queen Tamil remake.. The makers are planning to make changes and She is planning to add her own touch..” Kajal herself stated that she will be starring in the remake ‘keeping the Southern sensibilities in mind’. Reports state that Amy Jackson will be essaying the role of Lisa Haydon in the remake.

After accepting such strong roles, it is shocking that rumours now surface that has turned down a remuneration of Rs 5 crore for two female-centric films stating that she does not want to join the bandwagon. Reports state that the actress was offered a female-centric thriller by Director P Vasu and another project by Bollywood. But the actress has reportedly turned down a remuneration of Rs 2.5 crore for each film.

While these rumours are yet to be confirmed, we hope they aren't true.
