Kajal Aggarwal not playing Jayalalithaa in NTR biopic

Tollywood superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-awaited biopic on his father and legendary actor NT Rama Rao, finally went on the floors in Hyderabad earlier this month. The makers kickstarted the project by shooting some popular scenes from 'Daana Veera Soora Karna'.
While the shooting is progressing at a rapid pace, reports were doing the rounds that actress Kajal Aggarwal has been cast as legendary actress J Jayalalithaa in the biopic.However, Kajal has now denied the news and clarified that she is not part of the project.
To be directed by Teja, the NTR biopic is expected to hit theatre screens on Sankranti next year. According to reports, the makers are planning to make the biopic in two parts, which will chronicle both the political and cinematic journeys of NT Rama Rao. Being produced by Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri, and Sai Korrapati, the film has music by MM Keeravani.
Earlier in January, a first look poster featuring NT Rama Rao on the top of a vehicle created huge expectations among fans. If reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to release the film in both Tamil and Hindi languages.
